How much notice do you require?

We only take limited bookings per month so the more notice you can provide, the better as bookings are made on a first come, first serve basis. Quotes also have an expiry of 7 days so if you have been quoted and haven't decided yet, the date you're after may be taken.

What do you use to fill and cover cakes?

Our cakes are filled with Swiss meringue buttercream. Sometimes ganache may be used as well as food safe colouring for decorative purposes.

Can my florist decorate the cake?

Due to food safety and insurance reasons, only the Custom Cakes by Ana team is permitted to dress the cake. We are happy to work with your florist to have them supply the florals for the cake prior to the event, or to ensure consistency with floral types or colours being used.

What is your delivery fee?

Delivery is determined by location and proximity to our location in Penrith. Please supply the suburb or postcode of the delivery address when submitting an enquiry so that this can be included in your quote. Please note that delivery is limited to certain times on weekends only.

What happens if I change or cancel my order?

The 25% deposit made at time of booking is non-refundable. Changes to your cake design will be reviewed on a case by case basis and any additional cost will be discussed and agreed to. Please note that major changes will require a minimum of 2 weeks to accomodate.

How do I transport my cake?

Before your cake collection, we will send you an email containing a cake care guide which includes transportation, storage and even a cutting guide.

Do you cater for dietary requirements?

Custom Cakes by Ana’s baked goods are made on premises that may contain traces of milk, eggs, wheat, soybean, peanuts and tree nuts, and therefore is unable to offer cakes for specific allergy requirements; however dietary preferences can be accommodated. i.e. vegan.
